It may coffee, soda, or various beverages that contain alcohol. Not only do these other liquids not hydrate you as much as water, they may have a lot of calories or high levels of sugar.

2. Get a Good Night’s Sleep
This is another practice that everybody knows has serious health benefits, but that many people don’t make a habit of. How often do you get eight hours of sleep a night? It can be very difficult for people with hectic lifestyles, but sleeping well has many physical, emotional, and mental benefits.

3. Exercise for only 15 minutes
Many people find it difficult to make a habit of exercise. There is a common misconception that exercising enough to make a difference requires a large amount of time, so a lot of people don’t bother. However, just 15 minutes of vigorous exercise can make a big difference in your health as long as you make a habit of it.

4.Switch Your Milk for Soy Milk
Regular milk is a staple of the diets of millions of  Americans. However, milk can be highly fattening. Even 1% and 2% milk are fairly high in fat. Skim milk doesn’t have any fat, but many people don’t like how it tastes. Soy milk has a more pleasant taste for many people, and is very healthy.

5. Try Chicken Instead of Beef or Pork
Chicken is much less fattening that both beef and pork, and there are many delicious ways to prepare it. It is often cheaper than beef or pork, as well. Some people find it to not be quite as tasty, but there are many delicious spices and rubs on the market today that will give your chicken a real kick of flavor.
